Who are the Guys that Know?

We are Russ and Steve and we’re good friends. Beyond that, we’re just a couple of regular guys…. regular guys who get asked a lot of questions, that is.

We’re like that friend who knows almost everything. Okay, so that sounds pretty arrogant – let me re-phrase it. We’re like that friend who knows quite a bit and loves to look stuff up and learn new things in order to help someone. Is that better?

Questions like:

• “Can you charge a lawn tractor’s battery with the same charger you use for a car battery?”
• “I know you’re a BMW fanatic, but what other types of cars would you recommend for when my daughter goes to college?
• “How did you structure that deal where your customer wanted to pay you over time instead of up-front?”
• “What do you know about social media? Should I start a Facebook page for my business?”

So here’s what happened:

We’ve wanted to start a business together for a long time. Steve has been pushing Russ to put all his knowledge to use, and we are finally doing it. Guys That Know is about helping people – answering the kinds of questions we all have from time to time. The answers, of course, are the humble opinions of Russ and Steve, but if you’re looking for answers to “around the house,” “in the garage,” and “how should I do this or that” questions, we’re here for you.

Believe it or not, we don’t know it all  but we do know a lot of great people. Some of the answers you’ll find on Guys That Know come from our friends – smart people and good people.

We also want to hear from you. Ask us whatever question you want. If we don’t know the answer, we’ll do some research and try our best to help. Feel free to comment on the posts and share your knowledge and experience with us. We would love to hear from you.
